Hi Kim! I just found your blog through a link at "Amys Scrap-A-Lot". Thank you SO much for sharing your Christmas freebies! :) I was reading your other posts and saw this adorable one of your Hamster - Lil' Oreo. What a cute name and a cute hamster! Then I read that you had made the backgrounds and elements yourself and that this was your first digital layout...WOW!! Great job! It is also a lovely quote about animals. I have saved this and a few of your other layouts to my favourites (Canadian spelling, eh!). Here is a tip you may already know -- when I save a layout that I like, I always copy the credits, then in the MyDocuments folder where I saved it, I right-click the .jpg file of the layout and click on "Properties" - then I click on the "Summary" tab and paste the credit info into the "Comments" field. That way, if I go back to it later, I know who made the layout and what kits etc. they used to make it. Also, if you use a program like ACDSee or Adobe PhotoShop Album to organize your pictures, this data stays with it and you can look at it or search that data.
